How Kingdom Farmers Helps Our Community Schools

The Kingdom Farmers Community Based Organisation is very supportive of our community schools. We have four schools: Life Skills Kindergarten, Life Skills Junior School, Life Skills High School, and the Digital Institute.

How We Help the Schools

We help the schools in many ways:

  • We provide food grown by our farmers for the students.
  • Our trainers volunteer as teachers and support staff.
  • We pay school fees and other basic needs for some students.
  • We also help with other needs, like food and clothes.

Why We Started the Schools

After the lockdown, we wanted to create a safe and healthy learning environment for the children of farmers in our community. We also wanted to attract parents from the city who want their children to learn in a calm and peaceful place. Our goal is to help children develop important life skills, like farming, cooking, and technology, so they can succeed in life.

Challenges We Face

Despite our efforts, we face some challenges. Some families don’t have enough money to support their children’s education. We also don’t have electricity, which makes it hard to learn and do schoolwork.

But with the help of the Kingdom Farmers CBO, we’re able to overcome some of these problems and make a big difference in the lives of our students.
